Saving the Kids
Irina had to concentrate on the image that Lyta had sent to her, but after a few moments she had been able to open a portal to a spot just inside the main building. Her knives had been out and ready when she stepped through. They went flying through the air heading toward the two guards that had been standing near the door. The knives hit them in the chest and they fell to the ground. Stepping through portals and into trouble was quite common for her.

"Let's go," she called back to the others.

	Tessa wasn't a combatant. When the woman struggled her grip on the woman's ankle slipped and Tessa's hand came free. The foot caught her in the face and she went stumbling backward. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Lyta gasped for air as she became free. She whipped around in the air, facing the woman that grabbed her? She liked fear, huh? She could give her fear. Lyta lashed out at the woman with her telepathy, attempting to reach into the dark corners of the other woman's mind, into her fears. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The darkness closed in and Phobia panicked. Her powers went into overdrive and anyone within 20 feet of her was now feeling the effects of Tessa's powers. Their worst fears were making themselves home in their minds. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Donovan screams. The mutants, the dirty stinking mutants are closing in from all directions. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, claws and teeth and slime and tentacles and less identifiable things from all the stories about what inhuman monstrosities mutants were that he heard growing up.

He reaches for the nearest person, blindly trying to gain just enough power to open a way out, create an escape to anywhere but here.

	Spectre grabbed Phobia and she could feel her strength being drained from her. A few moments later Spectre, Nicholas and Phobia disappeared leaving the Champions alone in the hall. (Reply to this)(Parent)
