Double birthday celebrations
The 1812 Overture played in the background as Tamara walked out to the backyard of Excalibur headquarters, American flag cake in hand. Though they were England, it was still the Fourth of July, which a good number of them celebrated. It was also Tamara's birthday. She was twenty years old today. She'd picked up some cupcakes when she was at the bakery earlier. Singing Happy Birthday wasn't a requirement, but it wouldn't hurt if she got to blow a candle out of one of the cupcakes.

"I come bearing baked goods!" Tamara said with a grin, setting them down on the table.

Casey was busy getting the keg set up when he saw Tamara. He head over towards and said, "The food looks great."

Then he took a small wrapped box out of his pocket and handed it over to her. "And Happy Birthday." Inside the box was a silver Claddagh Ring that he though would fit her and with his luck probably would.

If she didn't know what it meant he would be happy to explain it to her.

Tamara gave him a hug. "Thanks, Casey." She unwrapped the ring and slipped it on her finger. "This is beautiful," she said, admiring it. "Does the symbol stand for something?"

“Aye it does,” Casey says, “The rings called a Claddagh ring. The crown stands for loyalty, the hands for friendship, and the heart for love. How a person wears the ring lets someone know their relationship status. Worn of the right hand with the heart facing out means your available, the heart facing in means in a relationship. You’re definitely not ready to wear it on the left hand.”
