Team Awesome vs Galactus (backdated to July 4)
Galactus was a cosmic being who needed to feed on the life forces of planets. Currently he was about to feast on a planet which was also the home of George, a small alien who had been residing on Earth. A small ship docked with Galactus' world ship, the crew intent on stopping Galactus from feeding on the planet.

"Thy blade wilt not harm mine companions!" Skari rushed forward with his blade held down and to the side with both hands. "Taste mine blade!!" He struck at Morg in a rising slash.

Morg does not so much as flinch as the sword embeds itself in his flesh. Furthermore, he reaches to grasp the handle over the whelp's hand. "A fine blade, and a blow that would be well struck... against a foe less than one who wields the Power Cosmic."

With his other hand, he reverses his grip on his axe, and drives it into the ground like a pike. A wave of force issues out, rattling the walls and lashing out at the other two.

	Hjordis was knocked down to her knees from the force of the blast. She had managed to hold onto her sword and she climbed to her feet as soon as possible. She charged in, her sword raised to come down in a massive blow. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Skari paused in surprise when his blade stuck into Morg's body. His hand was grabbed onto, but that didn't mean too much to Skari.

"Silence thyself! Thou art weak to rely on powers unnatural to thine own body!" He shoved his hand forward with all of his strength in order to dig his sword deeper into Morg's body.

"Unnatural? Mighty Galactus is one of the most primal lifeforms in all existence! What could be more natural than to be infused with his power?" Morg laughs as the blade goes no further, beginning to slowly crush the boy's hand in his grip.

Those with the temerity to invade his master's ship in such a fashion were rare, though not unheard of. Morg would take his time enjoying the battle. He makes a slash at the incoming female as he toys with the first attacker.

	When one slams an axe into the floor and rattles all the walls, one has to accept that this may do some damage to the floor. Loosen things, provide convenient handholds -- or clawholds. Skari cringes and yelps while his hand is slowly being crushed. It was pure reaction that he threw his other fist for the worst place to strike of them all--right toward the groin.

Morg just blinks at the strike to the groin, before erupting in laughter. "Oh little one, you fight dirty. I might have had use for one such as you when I executed individuals one by one. Now, Morg slates worlds for destruction."

He clenches his fist just as the other slash collides with it, and the floor behind him buckles and rises, surprising him enough that he releases it quickly.

When his hand is released, Skari pulls it, and his sword, back. Even through his pain, he strikes at Morg again. "Silence, wicked servant of Galactus!" He jumped and made a horizontal slash for Morg's mouth.

Morg lunges for the girl, trying to grab her by the hair, wading through the wreckage with minimal effort.

The competing grip on his axe's handle is noticed, but he overpowers it, raising his weapon and pulling the beast along with it.

"Yes, this one will do nicely. I will let your companions decide, girl. Shall I spare her suffering and cleave her head now, or will you struggle on while I bleed her slowly?" He sneers, his axe humming as he builds up another blast.

	While just starting her training as a shield-maiden, she did have many siblings and companions to know how to fight dirty. That included pulling hair. Hjordis also knew how to move to avoid it. She spun out of his reach and made a strike at the wrist of the hand holding Douglas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Morg creases his brow. Not nearly enough blood has been shed. Time to change that.

"You think the Executioner and Herald has only his blade to bring to battle?"

He drives his axe into the floor again and lunges at the nape of the beast clinging to his arm, biting savagely to rend the flesh of the beast. The shockwave released from his axe should drive back his allies' efforts to save him.

Skari leaped into the air to avoid the shockwave and tried to grapple Morg's axe-wielding arm. He swung his blade again, so as to make the man drop his weapon.

	Morg tears away flesh with his bare teeth, and then swings his arm with full strength, flinging the other boy away. "Ah, so there is some fire in you. Allow Morg to... extinguish it!" Skari hits the wall with a hard thud, and then lands face-first on the floor. He looks up to see Morg strike at Hjordis and to see what he has done to Douglas. It's hard to make Skari angry, but Morg did just that. "FOR MINE COMPANIONS!!" he bellowed as he picked himself and his sword up and charged at Morg.

	Hjordis caught the attack with her sword and held it for a moment before the axe went through her sword and came down aiming for her head. She dropped to the floor and crawled through his legs. Once she was past him, she kicked at the back of his one knee. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
