Team Awesome vs Galactus (backdated to July 4)
Galactus was a cosmic being who needed to feed on the life forces of planets. Currently he was about to feast on a planet which was also the home of George, a small alien who had been residing on Earth. A small ship docked with Galactus' world ship, the crew intent on stopping Galactus from feeding on the planet.

He wasn't expecting it to recover quite so quickly or entirely. Thankfully, realization of what he's done hasn't caught up with him, and he still feels like he's protecting Ellie. Even so, the smash drives him three feet into the advanced alloy floor.

There's a moment of struggle before there's a terrible grinding and tearing noise, as this time, he succeeds in tearing through the material of the ship, fighting his way free and launching himself at the robot's torso.

	The Cat was a little slow in reacting to the sudden attack. Daniel hit the Cat in the middle of the chest. His fists go through the metal and exposed the working innards of the Cat. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ow! owowowowow. As he punches through the hide, there's a sizzling sound as Daniel's hand is exposed to hard radiation and electrical jolts. Still, he finds something solid, grips as best he can, and tears. They have to find a way to shut this thing down. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Cat tried to pull the boy away from his chest with his good hand. The power systems were shorting out from the disruption in the chest, but circuits were being rerouted to keep the power going. More goo started spraying from the robot's mouth. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Daniel is hit with the goop, paralyzing him. But he still has a hold of various wires and internals, still connected, but stretching now. He's not sure if its going to be enough.

As the goop is washing over him, holding as tight as he can, he yells to Ellie, "Grab a handfull'a wires and teleport... its not alive." before he can't even speak anymore. He's going to have to trust her to finish it off.

	Ellie nodded, doing just that. She grabbed as many wires as she could and teleported across the room, hopefully taking them with her. When she'd teleported, the wires remained in her hands. She looked over to see if Daniel was okay. And to see if that had managed to finish the cat off. But mostly, to see about Daniel. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Cat kept trying to reroute power, but there was too much missing. The power fluctuated wildly and it flickered on and off. The Cat's movements were jerky and he couldn't move enough at once to strike. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ellie teleported through the Cat one more time for good measure, grabbing more wires. She threw them to the ground, panting. That had taken more energy than she thought she had and she was feeling dizzy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Cat's power systems were really disrupted and the thing came to a halt. There was a brief moment of nothing, then the repair systems kicked in. Slowly the robot started to repair itself. (Reply to this)(Parent)
