Tessa hadn't heard from Misha in almost two weeks. She knew why he hadn't called, but she couldn't lose contact with him. The mission depended on her keeping in contact with him. Not to mention Nicholas had been nagging her about keeping in contact with Misha. The man was impatient as hell and a pain in the ass.

Not wanting to hear any more from Nicholas and being genuinely concerned about Misha, she dialed his number.

Misha's phone vibrated in his pocket as he waited in the rooms set aside for Mikhail at the Russian embassy. He'd been pacing the parlor, not so much as unhappy to be here but not sure he should be gone from S.H.E.I.L.D. medical yet. But he couldn't argue with Dad. Logan was still on watch and Misha was under orders to get a shower, clean clothes, and have lunch with his cousin. If Dad said scram and Misha didn't have a good reason to stay, he scrammed.

He answered it as he looked out a window facing 91st. "Hello?"
