HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (open to Defenders)
Zoey was bouncing from the second she got up. Today was HER BIRTHDAY! She was turning seven today and seven was a big birthday. Or so she thought. She had been looking forward to this day ALL SUMMER! Birthdays were special and Mom said she could have a big party, minus the zombies and undead soldiers of course.

She zipped around all day, with the dogs following of course, and helped wherever she could. She helped Sarah make the cake, helped put up decorations and she helped arrange things on the table. She bounced the whole time. When Sarah told her to go get ready, Zoey raced up the stairs to get changed.

She raced down the stairs when she was ready.

It was FINALLY time for her party.

Daniel wouldn't have missed the small fry's birthday. He's sure that there's more than enough sugar and soda to go around, but he still finds opportunity to slip the little ones candy cigarettes and bubble pipes. After all, if he doesn't teach them to relatively harmlessly emulate bad habits, who will?

There's also a copy of Rock Band 3, and a signed promise that Zoey and Scotty can have whatever instruments they want, Ellie can have her pick, and Daniel will take whatever's left so they can be a band - named Team Awesome, of course.

	"You are so on." he agrees with a grin, hooking his own real guitar into the game. He'd definitely appreciated when they came out with that particular modification, intended to help teach the playing of real instruments, maybe, but also making guitar practice a lot more fun and saving on the mental transition from strings to buttons. 	Zoey took the one guitar and did surprisingly well. She didn't beat Daniel this time, but she'd make sure she practiced so that the next time she would. Though if they would have had a keyboard she would have won. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
