Save The Citizen (open to YA)
James had been planning this training session for some time. The idea wasn't his; he had gotten it from Sky High when Valeria made him watch it with her the other day. No matter where it came from, it would help the team. Sure he had the idea, but making the program to actually do it was beyond him, so he called in some help from his sister Anya.

James told her what he wanted and a few days later she had the program all ready for him. James had played around with the variables until he found something he liked. Once the program was set, he let the other Young Avengers know when the training session would be.

Saturday morning at 8am he was waiting in the training room for his teammates.

	Luna dove down to avoid being blasted off her feet by the lightning. She reached out with her empathy to mellow out Akilah and Stevie and make them feel less motivated. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Stevie's moving at close to three hundred miles per hour--her suit can hit just under Mach 1 when going full out, she might slow down a little ways from Luna's mental whammy, but sidestepping James' shield is pretty easy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Mellowing Akilah out is a bit of a task for anyone, but Luna is particularly good at what she does. Still, Akilah fights the urge to mellow out with all she had, and creates a barrier around James, Luna and herself. It's a barrier to keep Luna and James in, but not so complicated as to prevent Luna's empathy. With some work, the low level barrier could be broken, as Akilah is draining from the last session. She didn't show it, but it was what it was.

	Akilah dropped the barrier and rolled to the side, trying to hold her focus together. With the barrier down, Stevie's repulsor blasts could get through without resistance. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Stevie took a hit from James, sparks flashing where his shield connected with her repulsor field. To her credit, she held her ground, getting pushed back about a foot. 	James stood his ground. He had practice fighting against armored foes. Tony and Anya spent time with him in the training room. He let her come at him and when she was almost on top of him, he sidestepped and brought the shield down aiming for the helmet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Akilah noticed what Luna was doing and stopped. She turned and looked fiercely at the other girl. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!" Six rods of light formed to circle Luna, and the rush at just passed her; it was a scare tactic to break her concentration and allow Akilah to continue moving for the dummy.
