Not So Lucky Break (Open)

Life without his luck sucked. Casey honestly couldn’t see how people were able to get by without it. He actually had to look where he was going and watch where he stepped, things he never had to do before since his luck had always taken care of that type of thing for him.

Which was probably why he had fallen down a flight of stairs and sprained his ankle. It wasn’t too bad a sprain but he was told by the doctor that he should stay off his foot and keep it elevated for a few days.

So Casey was lying on the couch in the Excalibur Headquarters living room with his foot elevated watching TV. He also had a couple beers nearby to drink.

“The right thing,” Casey said after a moment. “If she want to get married I would, if not fine but I would definitely want to be involve in the kid’s life.” This response wasn’t so much that Casey had though this through because he hadn’t more it was how he had been raised.

“Though the problem there is all I know is her first name and the pub I met her at.”
