Resident...Evil?
Despite the garbage that went down earlier in the week, Melissa found herself a happier camper today. The Boss Man's check cleared; she and Kelly were now much more financially solvent. After a call to her lawyer, Diane, to get bills and things paid, Mel goes downstairs to have herself a victory dance, or as they're called, a beer. Never mind that it's early in the morning and that she hasn't hand breakfast, which also sounds like a good idea, Mel just wants to enjoy having her money, her girl, her magic and her guns.

Kelly was right about this whole mercenary gig; it paid dividends, even if being shot at and nearly killed by life-draining nutjobs was part of the job. They'd also done the world a favor by removing Benedict Kine's sorry self from it, and Mel figured they deserved medal for that. Instead, they got hefty-paychecks. Maybe she'd /buy/ herself a medal.

She walks into the kitchen, going through the cupboards to see if there's any eggs to make an omelet. If there is bacon, it's left untouched.

Bacon is against her personal religion.

Frenzy isn't the smartest member of the Masters of Evil. He's not even the second or third smartest. In fact, he's not even in the top ten. He's number seventeen out of fifteen people.

So, when the water comes at him, he thinks that Victor must be the dumbest guy on the planet, to throw /water/ at an Atlantean. He lets the blast hit him head on, glad to get a wet-down out of this, right before he the electricity hits him in tandem.

He roars in pain and falls to his knees, remembering the last time someone with electricity kicked his ass. He hates electric users. They cheat.

"G-gonna kill you..." he growls, trying to struggle back to his feet.

Victor snaps his fingers on his good hand, grinning as the routine works this time. "Classic."

He shifts his stance as the guy gets up again. Credit to him at least.

"Yeah.... I really doubt that. I was builtborn to take on way bigger fish than you." He reaches out to heft a piece of concrete by the support bars in it, and flings it at Frenzy.

And then he shoots another dose of ball lightning towards him anyway, because dammit, this is taking too long. Sooner or later these nutcases are going to get their act together.

McKenzie isn't exactly standing still while their opponents pull off the switch. Frenzy may be an idiot, and she may not be one of the super-scientists, but she knows a perfect cheap shot when she sees it.

Quite willing to take Molly on hand-to-hand, she flings her wrecking ball at Victor's back while he's shooting at Frenzy.

Ok, so its not the same kind of teamwork at all, but she's just fine with Frenzy playing tackling dummy if it means she gets to take the tinker toy's head off.

This time, there's a slight bump in Frenzy's learning curve. He dodges away from the debris and lightning being flung at him.

There's a Dikembe Mutombo-like finger wave from Frenzy to Victor.

"Not in my house, metal man." he grins. Frenzy will look back on this and call it one of his finest moments.

When McKenzie (Poseidon's Beard, she's hot, btw) swings her wrecking ball at Metal Man, Frenzy leaps at him as well, wanting to tear those smart lips from his face or use the guy's head as kickball.

Or maybe give it to McKenzie, since he can't afford flowers. Maybe she'll even go out with him!

Victor was about to counter Frenzy's rush when the ball hits him. The opposing forces rattle him further. His already damaged arm twists unnaturally at the shoulder, and his neck snaps in what would have been a fatal manner for a human.

He's sent flying, but manages to get back to his feet, head hanging limply to one shoulder.

"Izzzz th-th-that a-all youuuuuu've g-got-t-t, p-pozzz-zerrr?" His vocal circuits took a hit, but his generators are still firing. He re-routes power to one arm, and launches blasts of energy as if from a gatling gun, showering his opponent with attacks.
