Teaming Up
The Masters of Evil had attacked the Thunderbolts headquarters and had made off with Victor's body and with it a way to eventually access Ultron's files on the Avengers. It was a situation where a collaboration of the Thunderbolts with another team was needed. They needed to get Victor's body back as soon as possible.

The Thunderbolts made the trip to New York and were gathered in the conference room at Avengers Mansion along with the Avengers. They needed to discuss strategy and form a plan to retrieve Victor's body.

Anya sat back in her chair and let her brother take the lead. James was more experienced with leading a team and if anyone could get them to all work together as one big team, he could.

The punch connected with Molly's cheek, and her head snapped back, but she kept her grimp on McKenzie's hand. She threw a punch back at her with her free hand.

Like her parents, McKenzie isn't the smartest fighter. On one hand, she usually doesn't have to be. She's more skilled in a fight than most people give her credit for, and normally, she can wade blithely through anything most heroes can throw at her. She's stronger and tougher than her mom, and has her father's ball, with all its enchantments.

Given that, if she'd worked to escape, gotten her wrecking ball charged up with something, and used its advantage of reach, she probably has the advantage her.

But, being a Creel, she doesn't do that. With a snarled "So you want to go, let's do this.", she just takes the punch, and swings her off hand, keeping her grip with the other hand so neither girl can get out of punching range, willing to just trade punches, taking a hit in exchange for getting a free shot back, and see who falls. She's strong, certainly in Molly's league, but unlike a lot of people, Molly can hurt her, and it shows - still, she's not about to give up, taking the shots and swinging back, trying to outtough her opponent.

Molly knew how to fight smart. She'd learned how to fight smart.

But sometimes, nothing beat a good old-fashioned brawl.

Molly threw back her punches and kicks, matching McKenzie blow for blow.

This is definitely one of those old fashioned brawls. Neither can get more than a few chain links plus arm reach distance from the other, neither wants to. Trading punch for punch.
McKenzie is clearly hurting, bruises already showing against her flesh. Her eye is black, her lip is bleeding, but she's not backing down, swinging hard and going swing for swing, trying to outlast her opponent and seeing who wears down first.

It takes a lot to wear Molly down, or hurt her, for that matter. But she had her fair share of bruises, her nose was possibly broken, and she was sporting a black eye of her own and a nice fat lip to match. There was no way she was backing down, though. She threw back punch for punch, throwing back everything that McKenzie gave her.

She wasn't going to quit, and she sure as hell wasn't going down without a fight.
