Battle In the Skies
The Avengers had a few days to go over the intel that Tony Stark and Captain America provided. It had been a time to rest and recuperate from any injuries sustained on their last mission.

The quiet was about to be shattered.

Alarms went off all over the flying airship. They were under attack by the forces of the Red Skull and the Skeleton Crew. Each member was on a flying platform with ten other troops, all armed with laser weapons and swords.

Three soldiers dropped their guns when the darts hit their hands. The remaining seven continued to fire and Sin charged the man who had thrown the darts. She yelled and both guns were blazing.

Ryan dodged backwards throwing more darts like before and drew his knife to deal with Sin.

"You know what they say about bringing a knife to a gun fight," Sin said with a vicious looking smile on her face. She could exchange her guns for knives, but why make it a fair fight. She opened fire at Ryan.

“I wanted this to be a fair fight,” Ryan said moving out of the way of the shots though one grazed his left arm trying to close the distance between them. He threw a knife as her as he moved with his offhand though just been grazed his aim was not as good as normal.

The knife nicked her right hand and she dropped that gun. Though she still had another hand and gun. "You good guys, always wanting things fair," Sin said and shot another blast at him.

"Fools," Sin said and charged in. There was nothing like a point blast shot to the head and she was just the girl to deliver it.

Ryan waited for Sin to get closer before swing in knife trying to get knock the gun out of her hands.

The knife slid across her hand and the automatic reaction of opening the hand and causing the gun to fall. Sin yelled and tried to punch him.

Ryan didn’t have time to block the punch but while he was taking that hit aimed a hard kick to her knee.

The kick connected on the side of her knee and blew out the anterior cruciate ligament which caused her knee to buckle under her.

Ryan then turned to hit Sin with the hilt of his knife in the head as hard as he could.

The blow connected and Sin saw white spots in front of her eyes. She went off balance and toppled over, but brought her good leg up to kick him in the head.

Ryan stabilized himself and took some time to get out of his daze. He then wait for her to take move.

Sin stood on one leg and tried to take a swing at him. It left her really off balance. She yelled in frustration.

Sin could not move quick enough to get out of the way. The bad knee really limited her movement and speed. She took the punch and went down to the deck.
