It had been about a week since the altercation with the female Atlantean, and Mason, for the most part, was recovered. Stitches hadn't come out yet, but he didn't need to worry about popping them in the course of his day. Marrina and Jordie had threatened to lock him in his room if he didn't rest for at least the first few days afterwards, so he'd been forced to comply.

Right now though, he was feeling okay, and he had nachos with three kinds of cheese, bacon, and gravy. There was good in the world.
