Happy Birthday Charlie!
Asgardians didn't bother with birthdays and birthday celebrations, but since spending some time on Migard Svalin had come to understand that celebrating the day of one's birth was important. Svalin had made a note of her teammate's birthdays when she had read their files not long after joining the Avengers. Today, at least she thought it was today, was Charlie's birthday. It was a little difficult to keep track of exactly what day it was when one was hopping through time.

She mentioned Charlie's birthday to Vernique and Plans were made. The rest of the Avengers were let in on the plans.

One tradition of celebrating one's day of birth was to give them a gift. Svalin hadn't time to make him a dagger, but she had managed to purchase one from a pilot who seemed to be following her around along with a jacket that was called a bombadier jacket. Svalin had removed the name patch and had stayed awake all night removing the embroidery of the pilot's name and stitching Charlie's in it.

	Running up there wouldn’t take them long to ditch the soldiers. Ryan lead the way and make sure that the path they took wasn’t too difficult so that the couple could keep up with him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The couple followed without any problems. The soldiers eventually gave up the chase. "Thank you," the woman said. "We appreciate your assistance with the soldiers." "Yes, thank you very much," the man said. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	“Then let’s get going,” Ryan said as he start running again. He was going to try to take them as far as he could by rooftop to avoid soldiers though he wasn’t sure how far that would be. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alberto and Sofia ran with him, easily keeping up. They ran over rooftops and got to a building on the edge of the airfield. The rest of the way to the plane was wide open space. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ryan took a look over the final stretch of their journey. Although he could not see any trouble he got the feeling that they could run into some here maybe an ambush or something.

“I guess we’re back down to the ground from here,” he said jumping down to the ground landing in a roll to lessen the impact, “I’ll go a little bit ahead to see if I can spot trouble early in case we run into it.” Being hyper observant did help with that type of thing.

	After looking around for a bit Ryan came up with a plan and came back to them. “I’ve got an idea,” He said, “I’m going to cause ruckus to get all the guard after me which should clear the way for you I just need a quick moment to set up something.” (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
