The Follow-Up Visit
Vincent knocks at the door to Shanna's apartment. The conversation he needed to have with her could have been done over the phone, but he had an armful of dvds he wanted to loan her anyway. A mix of nature specials and social documentaries, along with the pop culture. It was rather refreshing to watch her take in the world at large. He remembered what it had been like for him when he escaped-- ...when someone helped him escape Latveria.

"Yes, that's one way of putting it." He shrugs, then gets up. "Let's finish up getting everything in here, we can worry about the floor-plan later."

Between the two of them, it doesn't take much longer, and Vincent excuses himself to borrow her shower for a rinse. He pokes his head out of the bathroom door before getting in. "Did you have anything in mind for dinner?"

"I found this lovely Japanese place that has a good selection for..... I guess you could call me a vegan." She laughed to herself. She was looking for something a little nicer to wear if they ended up going there.

"I'll do my gorchery shopping tomorrow. I'll need to pick up more vegetables." And some kind of grain.
