The Follow-Up Visit
Vincent knocks at the door to Shanna's apartment. The conversation he needed to have with her could have been done over the phone, but he had an armful of dvds he wanted to loan her anyway. A mix of nature specials and social documentaries, along with the pop culture. It was rather refreshing to watch her take in the world at large. He remembered what it had been like for him when he escaped-- ...when someone helped him escape Latveria.

	She answers the door with a small grin. She had been cleaning up, in the apron and the rolled up sleeves said anything. "Hello Vincent." She was bare foot too. Which didn't make sense for cleaning but Shanna secretly hated foot wear. She wasn't going to tell anyone that she hated it though. She couldn't properly explain why she did, it was just a thing. She enjoyed getting hugged and resolved to stop dusting. It wasn't that important. She steps away to hang up her apron.

"It's good. I don't understand this Thanksgiving holiday that people are talking about so I've been doing research."

She moves over to the couch grabbing her socks to pull them on her feet. She pulls them on and settles down watching him very curiously.

"No discomfort. Just a bit of surprise." Vincent shakes his head.

"Well, I did some thinking, and spoke with someone I trust implicitly, and I decided that I'm okay with a... casual arrangement within our friendship. As long as you still are." Her use of the past tense prompted offering the get-out clause for her, just to be on the safe side.

And yes, maybe he's got an extra button undone on his shirt, because dammit, outside of the fans, it feels good to have someone finding him desirable again.

	She can't help but beam. "I am. I would not have stated my interest in sharing heat if I couldn't wait. I am not like some silly girl who hasn't had a casual thing before. I understand how to.... 	It was a day and a half latter. They were moving Shanna into the apartment. She was in a good mood because she had gotten a bonus at her job as a bouncer. That meant she was able to pick up some sturdier furniture. She was being very careful to not display her strength too much but it made it easy for getting stuff inside. (Reply to this)(Thread)
