Dark Reflections pt 2
Not too far from where the battle between the Avengers and the Exiles took place, another group of travelers arrived. They received instructions on what they needed to do, much like the Exiles in that regard. The instructions were simple. Find and defeat a group of dimensional travelers before they could complete their mission.

The small team took cover and waited.

It wasn't long before a flash of white light appeared and a small group of six Avengers appeared.

Rahne had managed to get a hold of his boot. Ryan kicked at her to make her let go.

Rahne closed her fingers around his boot and tried to dig claws into him.

That was starting to hurt foot but the combat boots helped. He kicked even harder at her head, hands and arms.

Rahne growled and tried to bite his other foot as he tried to kick her head. She dug her claws in harder, hoping to hang on.

Ryan was pretty darn strong being able to lift over twice his weight but holding on to his grapple with one hand while fighting off Rahne was really starting to tax his strength. If he didn’t get her off soon they were both going to fall a ways to the ground.

He was struggling to keep his free foot from being chomped on and with his free hand threw crescent dart at her snout.

The dart hit and Rahne howled in pain. Her grip faltered and she fell to the ground.

Ryan started lowering himself and once he felt low enough to relatively safely do so he dropped trying to hit her which some additional force from gravity.

The impact with the ground hurt, but Rahne wasn't out of the fight yet. She growled and rolled out of the way before Ryan landed on her.

She climbed to her feet and attacked.

Ryan hit the asphalt when Rahne rolled out of the way which hurt a bit. When Rahne launched herself at him Ryan threw as strong a punch as he could with SAP gloves at her.

The punch connected and Rahne stumbled back a few steps. She growled and snapped her jaws for a moment and then charged again.

Ryan struggled against Rahne once she pounced on top of him. He tried to get his hands on his knife to even up the fight.

Rahne tried to slash and bite him, but she couldn't get a good blow in.

Ryan kept up defending himself getting some minor scratches and cuts. After a while he managed to his knife and hit her with it’s hilt.

The hilt smashed into her nose and snout. Rahne yelped and backed off a bit.

Ryan smashed the hilt at her again while trying to keep her on the defensive while he tried to get up.

The hilt connected again and Rahne snarled. She tried to swipe at the man with sharp claws.

The claws slashed his chest ripping his shirt and drawing blood.

“Hey I really liked this shirt,” Ryan says slashing at her with his knife with skilled precision to cause pain but not to seriously harm.

The knife caught her and she yelped. The smell of blood, even if it were her own, reached her nose and it drove her into a frenzy. She attacked with ten times the ferocity than before.

Clearly Ryan had made a miscalculation there and was having trouble keeping himself from getting ripped apart but was just barely hanging in there using the knife to deflect claws where he could. But he was pissed off now to she had put a hole in his jacket and he loved the leather jacket it fit perfectly and was broken in just right.

The knife caught a few of her fingers and she howled in pain. Her jaws snapped at Ryan hoping to sink long teeth into flesh.

Ryan moved to the side just avoiding the jaws trying to maneuver to a place where he could do something.

Rahne played perfectly into Ryan hand. Ryan then tried to do a judo sacrifice throw on her to throw her into the dumpster behind him which he was going to try to use to trap her or at least buy himself enough time to get himself in a better position for this fight.
