Dark Reflections pt 2
Not too far from where the battle between the Avengers and the Exiles took place, another group of travelers arrived. They received instructions on what they needed to do, much like the Exiles in that regard. The instructions were simple. Find and defeat a group of dimensional travelers before they could complete their mission.

The small team took cover and waited.

It wasn't long before a flash of white light appeared and a small group of six Avengers appeared.

	While the individual imps don't hurt his near invulnerable flesh much, its still magic, giving it some slight effect a purely physical effect wouldn't. The bigger problem is the distraction. With so many targets, he's definitely distracted, only able to target one or two at once, firing precise heat blasts into the swarm and taking swings and grabs where he can. The imps are like walnuts to an Eternal, tough, but it is nothing spectacular to crush them.

Ah... humans. However evolved or empowered they might be, they still think like bipeds. The ground beneath them is always solid, to their mind. Morgan takes a particular delight in punishing that mindset. She also takes note of the Eternal dishing out blasts of heat. No need to bother with fire then.

She conjures another spell, and a ring of runic script appears beneath Iason. Necrotic energy bursts upwards in a pillar.

For the first time since this began, something genuinely hurts - the necrotic energy eating into his own energy patterns and disrupting it, the black tendrils seeming to tear at his 'flesh' amidst the swarm of imps.

Were it not for the imps, he might be able to find his assailant and return fire, but they're doing a good job blocking his sight and ability to hear the spellcasting. He destroys a few more of the tiny things, but finds himself having to conserve his energy now.

Morgan deems him sufficiently struck for her to reveal herself, although carefully keeping her distance.

"What a fine and tasty thing you are young warrior... I could offer you even greater power, and great delights, if you were at my side.."

Whereas 'soft' magic users like that trollop Amora might go for the mesmerizing already, Morgan takes a different path. She strikes him with another lash of negative energy, this time coming down like a hammer on him. It was always interesting how Eternals had so much of their very corporeality tied to their energy powers.

	Finally seeing the sorceress, and not trusting his accuracy at the moment, he fires a concussive blast towards her feet to try and disrupt the ground under her. "Not interested." he manages past the buzz of impish wings, as he blasts a few more of the things away from him, while enduring the pain of having the portion of his form composed of energy torn at. Morgan is sprayed by debris thrown up by the blast, but takes to the air, dirtied but not damaged. She sets down delicately, one foot touching the ground as she fixes her gaze upon Iason.

"Oh you will my pet... you will beg me for the right to spend another day in my service when I am done with you." Her voice is confident, but with a touch of annoyance.

She reaches out and clenches a hand shut, as she gestures intricately with the other. The imps coalesce into one large fiend, which attempts to grapple with Iason.

	This, at least, he can deal with somewhat more directly. He ceases most of the blasts, engaging directly with the fiend, trying to keep moving and maneuver the fight to where he can get in a direct blast towards the sorceress. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The fiend opens its jaws, and an ear-piercing shriek comes out where there would be expected to be a roar. It plants its hands upon Iason's shoulders and tries to drive him to the ground. Morgan lets the fiend go to work, as she begins weaving a larger spell. Her pet's will must be broken before he can be taught. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The shriek was more of a problem, by far, than its strength. For superhuman senses, that is an attack in its own right, startling him enough that he's driven hard into the ground. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Morgan kneels and presses her conjuring hand to the ground. Infernal script and runes spill forth, weaving their way towards Iason like a serpent. The other hand issues forth another token blast of necrotic energy. "Such a good little pet you'll make... rarely do I capture one so fetching." She smiles wickedly, exposing her teeth. 	"Oh but I have, sweet morsel.." The writing on the ground encircles Iason, spilling over his skin as another shriek from the fiend keeps him pinned. "I learned this from a colleague," Morgan drawls as she hovers over Iason, face closing in on his own. "--before I turned her into a page-marker for the Darkhold." Her lips move towards his.
