Sam Fury ([info]sammyfury) wrote in [info]marvel_nextgen,
"Yes."

In the children's department, Sammy found what she was looking for. Good children's literature never went out of style. Where the Wild Things Are had been a favorite of hers when she was a child. Dad read it to her, Mom read it to her, her nanny read it to her, and on one memorable poker game night, Uncle Ben read it to her in his deep, growly voice. At four years old, she tied a towel around her neck and set off with a juice box to find adventure with the Wild Things. Fortunately, she was caught before she got out of the building.

Therese might find it amusing, but Sammy wouldn't care. It was part of her childhood memories and they never embarrassed her.

She paid for the book and slipped it into her backpack. "Is there anything else you want to look for here? Macy's really does have everything."
