Sammy was, quite possibly for the first time in months, awake early in a good mood. Coffee was an enhancement rather than a crutch this morning. Her first successful dinner with Qamar had brought up something she hadn't paid much attention to over the summer. She was registered for the fall semester but she hadn't finalized her schedule.

It had to be done. To that end, she was at her favorite coffee shop with her laptop to enjoy the morning and double check her schedule. Funny enough, she was looking forward to going back. The summer off had been just what she needed to give her a boost and refocus her goals.

Just as she asked the waitress for another cup and a second muffin, her cell phone vibrated in pocket. The display was an unfamiliar number. Ordinarily she would have ignored it, but it could be from Mikel at a different number.

She waited for the waitress to leave before answering. "Hello?"

	Sammy looked up and saw a familiar face looking back. That guy must spend more time in here than she did. She smiled a little and turned her attention back to the call. "Um...sure. I'm not really much of a shopper but I could probably use a few things." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Therese took a cab and arrived five minutes early. She believed in being a little early or right on time. Being late was a sign in inconsideration and it was just rude. She waited just outside the doors and enjoyed the summer day. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Sammy finished her second cup of coffee and leaned back in the booth seat. She was at a loss of what to talk about next. They'd exhausted the subject of Mikel, his secretive plans and stubborn nature. The pleasantries were done. Something told her not to talk about Qamar much.
