After the auction, before meeting Svalin and Vernique
Jordan didn't at all mind the looks of the woman who bought him, though it looked like she was talking to a friend... who he also doesn't mind a bit. However, observing certain other details, something else grabs his attention.

He heads over to the girl in the wheelchair. Well, the one that isn't Mel.

"Miss McCoy?"

"Heh. Yeah, when we got there, and found out we were married with a son there, I kept repeating the Third Law of Time to myself, the wholel 'what you see isn't exactly what you'll get' stuff. ...and now we're engaged with a baby on the way. So I guess there's no telling /how/ different it's going to be." She glances to Svalin. "But we'll have to be careful about not putting too much pressure on him."

"Aye," Svalin said. "His father doth carry a large burden for someone his age and I doth not want mine son to do so."

"Screw destiny and what not," Casey says, "I would just want my kid to be happy and have fun."

"Pretty sure Asgardians aren't allowed to screw destiny, but we're still going to make sure he's happy."

"Well it sounds like you both already have the making of good parents."

"All this talk about parents reminds me I was suppose to give a gift card for a free haircut by my ma to whoever won me."
