Chris had successfully cornered her prey. She'd baited her trap skillfully, and now there was no way out for her quarry.

She sat down next to Rachel and elbowed her, grabbing a bag of chocolates she'd picked up in her after-V-Day shopping spree. "So spill... how was the trifecta?" She grins.

Try going from there, for a start, if you really want to cut down to one, or even none of them." There were always those rumors that Franklin Richards had some major thing for her, too. Chris shrugs. "I'm enjoying the drama unfolding way too much to pick a favorite, but all I can add at this point is that David's sweet but doesn't leave much of an impression, and Starbridge comes with a whole load of political baggage. Not sure what to say about Torn Ear."

She actually has more she could say about David, but it wouldn't matter to Rachel, and it's not her place to discuss anyway.

It's a cat thing." Chris shrugs. "He just seems so damn non-threatening in general, and I'm pretty sure he couldn't have an impure thought about you unless you gave him permission."
