"We did," Cait said with a smile that had been on her face since they left New York. They were doing it. They were on vacation, together, an alone. No parents, no teachers and no bratty brothers.
Cozumel was beautiful. The air was warm and the sun was bright. It made her think of Nova Roma. She loved New York and loved being there, but it was too cold.
"I'll check us in," she said and made her way to the front desk.
