Being Lazy (open to any)
Kalypso was feeling particularly lazy and decided to camp out on the couch in the req room and watch some movies. Things had been rather quiet around the Avengers mansion and Kal was going to take full advantage of it.

She gathered snacks and stretched out on the couch. The first movie of the day was Megamind.

Ryan had finally gotten his life back on track after his little side trip. He was back attending college working on making up for his finals he had missed and was signed up for summer classes though that was more his mom telling him he was graduating on time no matter what.

Since he didn’t have his dorm to stay at anymore his dad had given him one of the smaller penthouses at Spector Tower to use for now though with how nice it was he was totally thinking about making it permanent.

He had even reconnected with his old friends which turned into a weekend long drinking adventure that he did not remember to much of other than it was really fun and he had not gotten another tattoo. He had really missed hanging out with those guys, it was a lot less stressful. It was also why he kept his personal life and heroing life separate and had a secret identity even if it wasn’t a really strong one.

Now having gotten into the swing of things and establishing a bit of a routine Ryan had come by for his usual work out at the Avenger Mansion. Walking by the Rec Room Ryan heard the movie going and decided to peak in and check it out. He had heard some funny things about the movie.

	Kal smiled and sat up to give him space on the couch. "Are you all settled back in after your trip?" she asked. A small part of her wished she could have gone hopping through time with the Avengers that had gone. She was a bit envious of them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"It definitely was quite the adventure though I am glad to be back home," Ryan says, "Each place kept getting more and more brain hurty. Who know what we might have been dealing with if we were still out there. To be honest I felt a little insulted as to why the funny looking guy said I could go compared to the others." "Everything and everyone has a purpose and I'm sure you filled an important role. We all can't be the strongest or the quickest, but we all have a role to play."

Kal's family was a good example of this. They all shared common abilities, but each Eternal had a specific area where they outclassed other Eternals. Kal's mother was the best at transmutation and Kal surpassed almost all the Eternals at illusions.

"From what I hear they were all glad to have you along with them."

"Thanks," Ryan said hoping he hadn't sounded like Steve earlier. That guy could have bad self-esteem problems sometimes. He still wasn't entirely convinced that he was a piece in that puzzle can could have been anyone but it would do for now.

"Yeah he definitely should not be allowed to drink tequila unless we want funny stories about him later," He says, "First time we were drinking it we both woke up with foggy memories and matching tattoos that I am so not telling Steve about. The next time he was drinking it that I know about it I don't know the full details but it did look like he was doing the walk of shame the next morning."

“Dad’s doing good, finds his work boring as all hell but it’s something to do since mom won’t let him do any heroing which is probably a good thing at his age. He’s glad to have me back even gave be a big hug when I saw after I got back. Mom’s doing good working at the museum she’s working on a big exhibit showing all the things her and my Grandfather found in Seti III’s tomb that they found years ago first time a lot of those objects are being exhibited. She was pretty broken up while I was gone not sure how dad helped her handle it but she is very happy to have me back.”
