The Hunt For Missing Mutants
The resort looked like any other Caribbean resort except for the people walking around. Some openly displayed use of their powers while others sported opening physical mutations. They laughed and talked, clearly having a good time, unaware that more sinister things were happening not far away.

When the X-Men arrive they will be greeted with smiles, but no one will have any information on their two missing members.

Lucas is pushed back by the assault, but weathers it. He has one advantage over Sinister - at least as long as Sinister tries to stay in the real world instead of engaging him on the Astral - Lucas isn't trying to keep an eye on the real world. He isn't subject to the attacks of people who can't use psychic or magical abilities - so he can put all of his attention on Sinister.

Sinister, on the other hand, is trying to engage in both worlds. Time to make that cost him.

Lucas continues to tug, inviting Sinister to engage him in the realm of imagination - while shaping the astral around them, well aware Sinister can perceive it, even if no one else there can. Bright colors, constant movement, distractions, feinting attacks - he can shape dreams. The astral is rarely useful except as a means to scout - but here, he can manipulate it like almost no one else, in this case to threaten and distract to try and turn the other fight into a pure match of X-Men and Sinister's minions alone.

	Misha knows he can't avoid Bloodhound and doesn't try. He barrels into the man, taking the slashes and shutting them out while he uses his fists in every vulnerable spot on a human body he can. He moves fast and quick, intent on reducing Bloodhound to a pile of raw meat. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Sinister grows annoyed with the interference in his head. "Vertigo, find the telepath's body and deal with him!" Sinister commands, using his telepathy to keep Lucas trapped on the astral plane while his body is found, and killed. When he can see Cassidy coming toward him, Sinister smiles and utters a single word. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	One moment, Cassidy is rushing toward Sinister, intent on blasting him to pieces in the hopes of ending this fight. Lucas hears Sinister's command - and tries to shut it out. He'll trust the others to keep his body safe, he's the one in the best position to deal with Sinister on something like his own level.

Sitting crosslegged, he closes his eyes, going into meditative mode to focus his energies, trapped in this realm - but that's alright.

Fogs swirl around Sinister's astral awareness, mingled with flashing and strobing lights as the astral plane shapes to the dreamspeaker's whims, continuing to interfere as best he can to keep the enemy's most powerful member from being able to fully focus on the physical fight.

	Rachel manifests the Phoenix symbol, as she often does when she's using her powers to significant levels, as she has even before she actually started playing host to the damn firebird. Her shield isn't enough to hold. But it's enough to slow the impact some. Turning what should be a lethal blow into one that just sends her flying into the wall. "Ouch..."
