Happy Birthday Tasha! (Stark Family)

Tony had thought to clear out Big Nick's for the evening, but if he did, Tasha's Spy-dar would go off and she'd figure out the plot. The only person he could trust with his secrets was Eddie, who wouldn't talk (not that he could right now). Still, his wife mentioned the other day that she wanted a big, juicy cheeseburger and Tony knew just the place to take her.

Of course, he put out a call to the kids to join them.

While Tasha got ready for their "date", Tony got Eddie ready to go out.

"Okay, Buddy. You make with the cuteness to distract your mother, and I'll play the tape when it's time. Got it? " Tony asks, smiling at his son.

Eddie grinned back in reply.

"Honey, are you ready?" Tony asks, carrying Eddie with him to find Tasha.

"I am," she said as she came out of the bedroom. She was dressed in simple blouse, a pair of jeans and a pair of boots. "Why are you two so anxious to leave? You still haven't told me where we're going."

Tasha wondered what her husband and son had planned for tonight. It was her birthday and that usually meant something. The day started out perfectly. She woke with a small hand grabbing her nose and some babbling. Sometime during the night Tony had gotten up with Nick and brought him in bed with them.

She spent the rest of the day relaxing and playing with Nick. She would need her energy for tonight.

"Hey, I told Eddie to clue you in. If he's making you play guessing games, I can't be held responsible for that." Tony grins.

"But since you're ready, I can tell you that we're going out to dinner." Tony says. "You mentioned a particular food recently and I wanted to get it for you."

"Isn't Mommy the most beautiful mommy in the whole world, Buddy? Yes, she is. Yes she is." Tony says, smiling at Tasha.

"Happy birthday, Tasha." Tony says, leaning over to kiss her.

Natasha kissed her husband and then smiled. "Thank you, Anthony." She placed a kiss on Nick's chubby cheek. He seemed too intent on chewing on his hand to notice his parents.

Natasha looked at her husband and son and smiled. Life was pretty damn good right now.

"And I am going out with two of the most handsome men on the planet." She kissed them both again. "Let's go."

	"Then please follow us to your chariot." Tony says, escorting Tasha down to the carport. They'll get in and get Eddie all buckled into his car seat and head to Big Nick's together. Inside, the place is very busy, but a section of the restaurant has been roped off for "Mrs. Stark's B-Day Bash!" "Surprise!" Tony says, along with any of the kids that are there. 	"Happy birthday, Mom!" Anya said with a big smile. She gave her mother a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Dad got the same and she relieved him of Nick. 	Misha arrived late, without a note from God or Saint Peter. The drive into the city had taken longer than he anticipated, and the traffic getting to Big Nick's from the penthouse by cab a little longer. 	Tony, Tasha and Misha returned to the penthouse after dinner and Natasha handed Nick over to Tony while she went to gather Nick's things. She had settled into being a new mom well enough to be away from her infant son for a few days. There was still a part of her that did not want to go, but time alone with her husband would be nice.
