Happy Birthday Tasha! (Stark Family)

Tony had thought to clear out Big Nick's for the evening, but if he did, Tasha's Spy-dar would go off and she'd figure out the plot. The only person he could trust with his secrets was Eddie, who wouldn't talk (not that he could right now). Still, his wife mentioned the other day that she wanted a big, juicy cheeseburger and Tony knew just the place to take her.

Of course, he put out a call to the kids to join them.

While Tasha got ready for their "date", Tony got Eddie ready to go out.

"Okay, Buddy. You make with the cuteness to distract your mother, and I'll play the tape when it's time. Got it? " Tony asks, smiling at his son.

Eddie grinned back in reply.

"Honey, are you ready?" Tony asks, carrying Eddie with him to find Tasha.

	Misha arrived late, without a note from God or Saint Peter. The drive into the city had taken longer than he anticipated, and the traffic getting to Big Nick's from the penthouse by cab a little longer. 	"Happy birthday, Mom," James said as he entered on Misha's heels. Traffic didn't make him late, but a certain blond did. James gave his mother a hug and a kiss to the cheek. "Now, I'm sure you all wonder why I've been asking you all such weird questions over the last few months, and I wanted you to know that tonight was the reason. I finished your mother's birthday present a few weeks ago and we're going to view it tonight." Tony says, looking at the assembled.

"But first, we eat." Tony says as the waitress arrives.

He orders a double bacon cheeseburger and fries.

Misha merely smiled at Anya and lifted his beer to her in salute. He was letting the talk catch him up to what had been happening with everyone lately before joining the conversation. Answering her jab would only give her an opportunity to make another one. It was Mom's birthday, after all. Some adult decorum was in order.

Bah, adult decorum. He stuck his tongue out at her when he thought Mom's attention was elsewhere. Take that, Brat!

Stark family dynamics were... such a strange thing. The rhythm and flow was hard to gauge. Eventually, Steve suspected he'd be up to full speed with navigating them. He didn't know if that would mean he'd lost his mind or just gotten very smart. Possibly both.

He'd ordered a double burger, fries, and a milkshake.

"Yeah, well, somebody around here's got to teach the kid sanity. Guess that'll be me."
