So, about your little boy...
Tony watches as Reed looks Eddie over, while Hank goes over the information via satellite transmission. In his mind, he's trying to trace the steps in their procedures, but genetics isn't one of his fields. He has to trust that his friend can figure out if Eddie's current ability to walk is tied to an X-Gene or if it really is just a random beneficial quirk in the boy's genes. Eddie comes from good stock, so Tony wouldn't mind a reason to shout that from the rooftops.

"Hey, Buddy! Mommy and Daddy are right here. You havin' a good time? We'll go do something fun after this. I promise." Tony says, trying to keep Eddie's mind off everybody's staring at him.

	Natasha looked cool, calm and collected, but insider her stomach was in a knot. She held on to a little hand and always had a smile when her son looked at her. "We'll go for some ice cream," Natasha said. "Would you like that?" Nick babbled happily. He didn't seem phased with all of the attention. He loved it. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Reed removes his glasses, looking over the information while Hank does the same. "Tony, Tasha...I think you two should sit down. Reed takes a deep breath.

"Tasha, Tony...both of your genetics are present in Eddie, as we suspected, but our tests ran across at third DNA strand that doesn't belong to /either/ of you." Reed says.

"The chances of something like this occurring are, quite frankly, astronomical. Only a few environmental factors could give way to such a scenario, beginning with--"

Tony clears his throat.

Reed realizes he's rambling and goes back to his notes.

"This would have had to happen in the womb." Reed says.

	"I don't think so," Natasha said. "At least nothing that I can remember clearly." There was that time when Kraven ambushed her and the Exiles James, but Natasha didn't remember much after Kraven attacked. "Well, we're going to keep working on this and see what we can get out of it. We'll keep you informed in that regard.

However, your son is developing at an astounding rate. He's already walking at five months old. It's hard to predict what may happen next, but keep an eye on his development. He could begin speaking or suddenly become much more coordinated than he should be for his age." Reed says, a sense of wonder in his voice.

"Should there be any other developments, we'll need to run additional tests. Right now, though, it's too soon to tell how quickly these things could happen." Reed says.

"We'll contact you the moment we have more information." Reed says, nodding to his friends.

He pauses for a moment, then looks back that them.

"He'll be okay. You'll see that. Take it from someone who didn't handle having a special son very well at first. I made a lot of mistakes out of fear, but Franklin turned out well despite me." Reed says, offering them a smile.

Then he turns and goes back to his work.
