So, about your little boy...
Tony watches as Reed looks Eddie over, while Hank goes over the information via satellite transmission. In his mind, he's trying to trace the steps in their procedures, but genetics isn't one of his fields. He has to trust that his friend can figure out if Eddie's current ability to walk is tied to an X-Gene or if it really is just a random beneficial quirk in the boy's genes. Eddie comes from good stock, so Tony wouldn't mind a reason to shout that from the rooftops.

"Hey, Buddy! Mommy and Daddy are right here. You havin' a good time? We'll go do something fun after this. I promise." Tony says, trying to keep Eddie's mind off everybody's staring at him.

	Natasha blinked. "That's impossible. Alexi is dead." Logan killed Alexi two years ago and if Logan said he was dead, he was dead. Thought her ex-husband did have a knack for coming back from the dead. "Two years ago on March 15th to be exact." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Tony sighs.

"Misha can confirm it." he says. "Alexei went after him, too. And then he pulled some crap down in New Orleans that got Lyta's team involved...and Misha came to me for help in dealing with it.

Misha wanted to tell Logan, but I knew Logan would tell you, so I made him keep it a secret. You were pregnant, and I didn't want to worry you. I was going to tell you after Eddie was born, but...we were happy and Eddie was happy and healthy and...I figured Misha and I could handle it and no one would have to know." Tony tells her, looking her in the eyes.

"I swear, I didn't do this to lie to you. I just wanted to keep you and Eddie safe."

	The temperature in the ice cream parlor dropped by twenty or thirty degrees. Her husband and son had know that her psychotic ex-husband had been alive for over a year and they had kept it from her. 	"This isn't on Misha. I made him keep quiet, Tasha. If you're going to be pissed at anyone, be pissed at me. He wanted to tell you, but I didn't think you'd handle it well." Tony says, noting the metaphorical chill in the ice cream parlor (fitting, that). He did not like it when she used that tone. That was the tone that came out before someone got shot. 	Natasha kept quiet and fed Nick a little more ice cream before putting the spoon down. She took a napkin and wiped her son's mouth.
