Night on the Town
Senagi was...well..culture shock didn't really describe what he was seeing. He went from a small village to..this. Being in a place like this with all the power sources would have been a nightmare normally, but he'd be outfitted for this. Under his clothes was a dampening suit which greatly hindered the amount of excess energy he'd passively absorb. He also wore a pair of thick glasses, Andrew said it was similar in design to his uncle's protective eyewear. If someone asked about the glasses, he'd just say he had "eye problems..which was technically true.

"Angelo..no words come to me to describe this."

"We lived on the outskirts of a village so it was either bread, meat, fruits, vegetables, and milk. As a result, I developed as a man of simple tastes. I'd have no idea what to go with. What do you like?"

"Hm. Well, it's hardly my favorite, but I suppose we should start with the token local cuisine..." Angelo shakes his head to himself.

"You'll find that, for lack of any true cultural background of its own, 'American' food centers around cow beef, potatoes, and white bread, in one form or another, with copious amounts of salt." He leads him to another section of the dining concourse, having them seated by the hostess, whom Angelo smiles politely at.

"Hamburgers. Introduced at the world's fair just over a century ago, and a regular fixture for Americans ever since. I prefer mine cooked medium rare, that's with just a bit of red in the center of the meat, with bacon and cheese." He points out the other topping choices on the menu to Sengai. "Most popularly paired with--" He grimaces slightly "--'french' fries, or just 'fries'. Fried sticks of potato, which are served with ketchup themselves."

"I..I cannot et beef. My apologies friend, but i was raised Hindu. The cow is sacred in our faith." Sengai notes his look. "French fries? They originated in your father's homeland?"

Angelo's eyes widen, and he lowers his head in apology. Despite the inherent complications of Bennet family background, religious edicts are always to be respected, so long as they themselves respect others.

"I'm very sorry, I didn't realize. However, there is a chicken cutlet sandwich, as well as a sandwich with shredded pork. Both of those meats feature heavily in American food as well."

He can't help but roll his eyes at the inquiry about the fries.

"It is a very complicated, very American, issue... but largely irrelevant one. In this case, it's just a name that stuck."

"No apology is necessary, Angelo. You didn't know and I didn't mention it." Sengai mulls over the options. "I used to have chicken at home. I try the chicken sandwich to mentioned." Sengai feels a slight twinge, an indication that his body was attempting to absprb energy but the suit was aloowing it. He rubbed his templefor a moment, not wishing to compalin aloud.
