Svalin was stretched out on one of the large couches in the rec room of the main building and was trying hard to enjoy sitting still. Her feet and ankles had started to swell and her wife wasn't going to let her do much besides sit and put her feet up as much as she could. Svalin had tried to argue but it didn't get her anywhere except sitting on the couch with her feet up.

She sighed and looked at the television. To Kill a Mockingbird was on and Svalin was still waiting for the killing to start. Why was kill in the title if there was no killing in it? It didn't make much sense to her, but it was one of her wife's favorite movies and Svalin would watch it.

Svalin focused on the television and was surprised by the sudden kick. She gasped and reflexively put her hand on her stomach.

	Svalin smiled. "That ist refreshing to hear. I art happy for you. It ist nice that there ist more movies for thee." They entered through the door and Svalin stopped right inside. He introduces her briefly to a few of the hands on the set, and lets his personal assistant know that she'll be staying to watch shooting today, and to make sure she's comfortable. "They shouldst get thee a good chair, drinks, whate'er thou mayst need. There art on site food and beverage carts, and mine assistant wilt fetch whate'er thou mayst need. Thou hast but to say the word."

"Thank thee, brother. I appreciate thine thoughtfulness." Svalin said as she sat down in a chair.

While Hal went to start filming, she watched. Occasionally she would look around at the other people involved with the movie. She watched two men practicing with wooden swords.

Curious, Svalin got up from her chair and walked over to them. A few moments later she was showing them how to fight with swords.

	Svalin doesn't spend a lot of time with the two men. She did come here to see her brother at work. She smiled and thanked them for the fun and returned to her chair to see her brother film the big scene. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It looks like this scene is being shot as a scene in ancient times, with Halbjorn playing some barbarian or other, standing head and shoulders over the armored warriors around him, while an actor dressed as Dracula watches the scene from a tower above. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Svalin was enjoying herself immensely. It took her mind off of the dreams she had been having and she had gotten out of the Defenders HQ. It was nice to be out and she had the threat of watching her brother work.

She smiled as she watched him. It was easy to see that he enjoyed doing this and Svalin wouldn't begrudge him some happiness. Hal deserved it.

Though she did pick apart some of the sword fighting. It was just...sloppy.

	He does seem to be enjoying it, even if he's not fighting at all like normal, just following the choreography and direction instead, the lighting shifting around and changing at the director's guidance as the scene continues. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Dracula, Lord of the Vampires, had been watching this farce from high up in the rafter. Insolent mortals. They shall pay for this insult to his person.

Silently he dropped down to the top of the tower where the actor dressed as him stood. Dracula reached out and grabbed him, before pulling him in. Blood drained out of the man and the dying body was tossed casually off the tower. The man fell into the crowd of barbarians below.

Dracula himself watch with pleasure as the mortals below screamed and started fleeing.

	That... was not in the script. The director is yelling CUT... and the guy isn't moving. Halbjorn's eyes life to the tower, and a snarl crosses his features. "Coward! Attacking hapless mortals! Hast thou the spine to take on a real fight?!" he calls, before beginning to scale the tower. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin jumped out of her chair and reached for Vigfrior but the sword wasn't at her side. Even if she had her sword, there wasn't much she could do in her condition. She tried to help the mortals get out of there. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Halbjorn pulls himself up over the edge of one wall, not the tower quite yet, so he's still yelling upward, but much closer. "Mine place ist here, so long as people art threatened by such as thee!" he calls, before smashing in part of the fake tower, trying to collapse it and bring Dracula down to his level. 	Svalin continued to help the mortals clear the area. She grabbed one of the prop swords just in case. Next time she wasn't going anywhere without Vigfrior no matter how ridiculous it looked with her clothes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The tower coming down was of no concern to Dracula. He merely lifted off of it and floated in the air above Hal. This Asgardian was persistent, he would give him that. Dracula summoned the minions he had just outside the studio. He then unleashed a blast of magical energy toward Hal. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dracula turned into mist and the piece of the set went right through him. He reformed and laughed. "Is that all you have, Asgardian? You will need to do better than that to keep me from taking the female with you." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
