It was a risky move, but it had to be done. Shostakov was no friend to the royal family and if he was taken into government custody decades of work would be lost. If his comatose body could be grabbed by those who had the same interests, he could possibly be revived and work on the projects could resume. That 'son' of his knew what his father had been doing, but the kid didn't know half as much as his 'father'. No, they needed Shostakov and they had to get him before others did.

The warning was sent from a small internet cafe computer and bounced through two dozen different nodes around the world before it reached its destination in Canada. They had to be warned that the Russians were coming. Hopefully they would respond appropriately to the incursion into their land and during the conflict and chaos Shostakov could be taken out of there.

There were a lot of variables, but it would go as planned. It had to.

"Impressive I guess," Alex said with a casual shrug. How did he want to play this? He could assume the same form and draw this out a bit, but he didn't know how many of them there were and if they already had Shostakov.

"But then I can do this," he said and turned into a red dragon. The hallways were a little cramped in this form, but he had enough room to swipe at the bear and move his head around.

/Do you really want to do this now?/

	Alex assessed the situation. He didn't want to fight, but he had to get past this guy and keep them from getting to Shostakov. He shifted into a tiny field mouse and scurried past the bear. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ursa is temporarily surprised by the sudden shift in form. However he can both smell and see the little body darting to pass by him. He didn't really want to kill him, but he'd do what he had to. He swiped a paw at the fleeing mouse. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ursa is temporarily surprised by Alex's transformation a bear and as such is a little slow to avoid the swipe. The blow grazes him, but it still stings. "You would mock me!? 	Ursa growls in annoyance as Alex's transformation allowed him to evade Ursa's charge. This area was cramped for Ursa's bear form and he shifts back to human form. "I will not let you deter me." Ursa thows up a smokre bomb, hoping to keep Alex distracted long enough for Ursa to get a headstart past him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alex kept flying until he was at he other end of the hall. The smoke would help him do what he needed to do. He shifted into a Minotaur and charged back the way he had come. He was hoping that one good punch will put the guy down before he had a chance to shift. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
