Calling Around
A lot going on very quickly. It had been so long that it was just him and Gio... then Angelo. Since then, things have grown quickly. Andrew fully intended to take advantage of that. Now that they've brought on some official staff, it was time to take advantage of all that momentum. As soon as he gets caught up, however temporarily, on paperwork, he starts making calls...

Calling Xavier's.... asking for both Cassidy, and one of the McCoys.
Calling Nell.
Calling Rikki up at her convenience.
Calling Julian.

Any of these could go quite badly... but nothing was ever acheived through a lack of effort.

Rikki's general response to stress is to hit things, which is precipitated by an increase in density. When she can't hit things, which is absolutely the case here, she still defaults to the density change. The floorboards creak for a moment, before she gets it under control.

"I understand," she said, after a moment. She could rationalize this. It did give her the chance to hit things...

And more importantly, she did believe in getting Mutant Town back off the ground.

	This could be a disaster... but he trusts Rikki to be able to handle herself. She might not agree with a lot of his policies, but she's loyal and usually professional when ordered to be. "Come in!" he calls, nodding gratefully to Rikki. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"You can. If he accepts the offer, you're going to be working with my half brother at times. He also has an interest in social work, and some ideas. Whenever you leave the consulate, you notify Rikki... and she goes with you. As of right now, you have a bodyguard any time you're outside. I'm going to be making an announcement to the U.N. shortly, and it won't be popular. I'm also going to be seeing about getting an investment group to help put some things in in Mutant Town... for that to go forward, I need a proposal drawn up. With a minimum of expense, I need someone to determine what the most important zones are in Mutant Town... where, if you wanted to guarantee no one could, say, put in high rises and such, where you'd put low income housing, a McDonalds franchise, and a drug counseling center."

	Rikki drew herself up to her full height, crossing her arms slightly in front of herself. She'd been given a job by the Heir. It wasn't her place to judge whether it was right or wrong. The necessities are housing, some type of low-skill job creation... so I figured looking into fast food franchises might be good, and a drug testing and counseling center. Speaking of which... you and Rikki need some new clothes. Find Gio, let her know that I'm approving a budget for the both of you to get two sets of formal business attire, suitable for high scale meetings, and Rikki will need full concealed communications gear. You have a shopping trip ahead of you. If she wants to go with you, make sure Gio gets something for herself."

	Well, there had been a MMA tournament on TV she had wanted to watch (even if they were just flatscans, Rikki appreciated good fighting skills.
