Hajime reads the note, considering. "Don't." he replies simply. "Either he has the conviction of his honor, and your brother is alive and well, or he doesn't, and he has already come to harm or death. The person who kidnapped him has already proven he is not above ambush. Giving him what he wants, on his terms, likely dooms your father. If you are to prevail, you must be patient, and find a means to put the battle back on your own terms."
