Shooting Hoops (bendytimed, Xavier's)
It was going to be one of Mac's favorite occasions: a non-pointless game of basketball.

"Thanks for having me over, man," he told Adrian. "I can never resist a pickup game with a mutant Russian."

"No problem," Adrian says, "This should be a lot of fun. Not many time you get to go up against a half-Atlantain with nova force."

He leads him down towards the danger room.

"Did we want to throw in an restrictions?"

"Occasionally we do no powers to keep things fair and destruction down to a minimum," Adrian says, "But we'll probably be fine."

When they go inside they find a professional looking basketball court with the X-men symbol where appropriate. Complete with a holographic crowd.

"So what do you think," Adrian asked.

Adrian jumps to but since he was controlling the gravity on the ball it was just a normal jump for him. But he did make the ball start falling faster by increasing the gravity on it by twice normal.

Mac does his best to gauge, but he misses by just a little, and Adrian gets the ball. No, this game wasn't going to be pointless at all.

Taking his control off the Basketball Adrian made a break down the court. Once he could only use his power on one thing or area at a time he was going to wait and see what he might need it for.

The feint buys him a moment's hesitation, but Mac is soon after him again, reaching for the ball this time.

Seeing Mac break again Adrian reaches out to the basketball with his powers loweing gravity greatly on in so the it would bounce higher and faster than expected.
