But It's My Day Off!
It pained him to admit it, but Vincent had been somewhat remiss lately. In spite of their decision to date one another exclusively, he'd hardly been able to make any time for Asleif. It wasn't as if she'd been hounding him for it, as she seemed thoroughly absorbed in her world travels, but it bothered him, and rightfully so.

A painstakingly thorough clearing of his schedule for a day had been arranged, along with putting together an itinerary of things to do together. He'd even gone the extra mile and asked MacKenzie the favor of being on standby for any F4 related emergencies in his stead (with a caveat that if magic was involved, he should be contacted immediately).

And so, crafting the most precise veil he knew how to, he will slip up behind the object of his affections as she thinks she is off and alone.

"My lady." Comes a whisper over her shoulder, as he manages to keep the tone soft in spite of his grin.

	"The city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, on the South American continent, bordering the Atlantic Ocean." He replies, signalling to the waitress in Portuguese. He spent the weekend he planned this trip learning it. "More... flair than the other destinations." He smiles, shrugging. Vincent grins. "You're living in New York? You should have told me sooner." He definitely seems pleased with this news.

He nods to her. "I'm glad you're keeping close to your siblings still."

As they wait for the waitress, a woman, closer to Asleif's age than Vincent's, saunters over, wearing a bikini top and a wrap of some sort. She exchanges a few words with Vincent in Portuguese, before handing him a piece of paper, then sauntering off again with a glance back over her shoulder.

Vincent seems to hold a mixture of stunned and annoyed.

	Vincent reaches out and catches her hand with his own, tilting his head at her with a disapproving gaze, as he immolates the paper with his other hand. "Asleif..." Vincent's expression softens, worrying he came off as patronizing.

"I'm sorry... I just wanted a day where we didn't have to worry about anything. You'll notice I have no interest in spending time with any other woman." He brushes the ashes off the edge of the table.

"You're much more beautiful, anyway." He gives her a smile. Yes, it's token flattery, but it's still sincere.

	He grins. "Now that, my lady, presents a delightful option for the day." He chews his food slowly, looking her over quite thoroughly, clearly forming an image of something most pleasant in his mind. 	"Allow me to elaborate." Vincent said, just as their feet were beginning to find sand beneath them. He turned and placed his hands on her hips. "Be very still." He leaned in and kissed her, as his fingers drew patterns on her clothing, which soon glowed to life. In moments, they were each dressed in clothing more appropriate to the beach.
