tdrok: The Sleepers Have Awaken
It was a normal summer day in New York City. The thermometer was at 80, the sun was out and there was relatively no humidity. It was a perfect summer day.

A bright light appeared in the middle of Central Park and started to grow. It expanded rapidly and grew to the size of a two story house. The tear in space in time was still for a moment and then things began to emerge from it. A giant robot walked through with guns ready. A moment later a second robot emerged, this one looked like a giant flying manta ray. It was followed by another that looked like a giant flying head.

The three robots were followed by a division of soldiers, each armed with automatic rifles and wearing uniforms with swastikas. They marched out of the portal and split in half. One group went east and the rest went west. Following the soldiers came a few other individuals. The Red Skull, Masterman, Warrior Woman, Iron Cross, and U-Man came out of the portal.

"Attack!" the Red Skull shouted. "Destroy the city!"

	Mac zips up higher than the Nazis were aiming, then slams down amidst the soldiers again, making shooting that much harder for reasons of friendly fire. And and more tossing -- and punching, nothing wrong with a little punching -- commences. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Magical protections, and the best armor that the marrying of spell and science can provide, shield Vincent from the bullets. He shakes his head and grits his teeth as he wades through the attacks.

"Bullets? I am one of the brightest-- young minds on the planet, an accomplished mage, and a DEMI-GOD, and your plan to deal with me is BULLETS?" He hurls a pair of them skyward towards MacKenzie, addressing him now. "If I weren't so aggravated I'd be insulted!"

	And Mac shoves the airborne soldiers toward the portal like some bizarre volleyball spike. "Dude. Nazis," he says, grinning through a bit of exhaustion setting in. "There are many, many memos they don't get. Appropriate magical combat's gonna be one of them." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vincent's expression turns a bit sterner as some of the soldiers are getting further away than he'd like. He clasps both hands together and a rune flares to life, as a massive wall of illusory fire, although the heat it emanates is real enough, bursts up in front of the treeline. 	Vincent grunts. "Just give me a moment, and appreciate the artistry." Another spell, and he proofs MacKenzie against the heat. He then goes about letting loose a flurry of force bolts at the soldiers to knock them flat one by one. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Vincent flies in a wide arc, using minor offensive spells to keep the ones still moving going in the right direction.

"Now that the fodder are taken care of, MacKenzie, please stay behind me, as I need to take unfair tactical advantage of Andrea's foe. And by unfair, I mean 'fireball his ass'."

It's possible that Vincent's quips have been somewhat influenced by the friends he has made in the past year.
