tdrok: The Savage Streets of Westchester
The day was going like any normal summer day in Salem Center. The sun was out, it was hot and the residents of the small town in Westchester county went about their daily business. It was not to last.

A small pinpoint of light appeared in the middle of Main St and started to grow. It quickly expanded causing traffic to stop and the citizens to stop and stare. The light continued to grow until it was the size of a three story building.

A moment later things started coming out of the bright portal.

	Lucas extends a hand slowly, trying not to startle it. "Good, very good. We're going to get this settled down, find you a nice quiet place. You're a herd creature, right? 	He lets it sniff as long as it likes, making no sudden moves. "This place is very noisy and crowded. Why don't you come with me, and we'll find you a quieter place and maybe track down your herd?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Good boy." he offers, trying to find the clearest, calmest path away from panicked crowds so he can head for the park. "Hey, can you call your herd? I'll show you all a good place." he offers - figuring it might be able to draw more herd creatures away from the city to help calm things down.

At the very least, other triceratops. He's hoping, like modern herds, different herbivores might wander together for safety, and respond to the sound of the big three-horn as well, amidst the chaos and panic.

	The triceratops bellowed loudly as it followed Lucas. On occasion it would look at a parked car, pondering whether or not to charge it, but it stayed with Lucas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Lucas talks calmly as he goes, "Don't worry about those, they won't hurt you. They just make a lot of noise." he offers, trying to lead it, and anything else its bellows attract to the nearest park, figuring that should be mostly evacuated and clear by now. Not a long term solution, but it will work til they sort this out. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
