He's noticed the expressions and general hesitance. Not surprising, this is not exactly a veteran team, and he hasn't yet proven much as a leader, even a tenuously elected one.
"Ok, once we get there, both scouting, and if it turns out we do this - don't take any unnecessary risks. The infiltrators and the people creating a distraction, look after each other, and if it gets too heavy, get out. I'll be in the middle and take as much heat off you as I can - its more or less what I'm made for. Don't hesitate to fall back - I don't want to risk losing anyone, and no one should be working alone."
Well, except him, but hopefully that'll make sure everyone gets out of this ok.
