"I thought we were going to go away for a few days," Natasha said to her husband as she watched him pack a suitcase. Nick was sitting on her hip happily chewing away at an animal cracker. She and Tony had plans to take a small vacation, but now it looked like those plans had changed. Her husband was packing for a business trip, or so it seemed.

	Tony blinked. "Tasha, did you hear that? He just said 'Da Da'. I heard it, plain as day!" Tony says, smiling at Eddie. "Can you say again for me, little guy? Just one more time? I need to get this on record." Tony says, pulling out his phone to record. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"I heard it," she said. "It was just a matter of time. Right, Little Man?" Nick of course was not going to say it again. He was too busy stuffing a very soggy animal cracker into his mouth. "Say da da, Nick," Tasha urged. Nothing except a big grin. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Aw, come on, Eddie! Just one more time for your old man? Please?"

Nothing.

"Okay, son. I won't pressure you /this/ time. When I get back, though, we're going to get a recording of you saying 'Ma ma and Da da' if I have to wait all night for it.

I will accept 'Moose and Squirrel' as substitutes." Tony nods. He kisses Tasha before she can say anything, then grabs his suitcase.

"And I've got to go!" Tony laughs, heading out the door.
