And this is how the world begins, to marvelous fanfare
The fight was a brutal one. The dead have been gathered, and they are many. But even more of their enemies have fallen, and will not have the strength to attack again for a long time.

Odin was plunged into the Odinsleep, battling some foe that none of the other have found sign of, aside from obvious verification that it was a massive and fearsome fight... and the Lord of Asgard was victorious... but how long he'll sleep is anyone's guess.

Thor has ascended to the throne, sign of the continuance of the kingdom. Sign that Asgard was bowed, but did not break. They continue to defy all foes, all endings. And when they fight, even when they fight and die... a celebration is still called for, including recognition of significant heroes and events.

And today, there were at least two.

Thor calls his eldest daughters before the throne, and Vernique with them.

Aridis had felt some difference today. Her blows had been more sure. Her arrows flew home more often.

She still saw that she could improve. How was she to protect those she loved if she did not strive for better?

She did not voice this though. She was just glad the day had been saved as best it could. Many lives had been spared by their victory today.

Though a price had still been paid. She just knew not from where.

"My lord," Aridis echoed bending to one knee.

"Rise, brave warriors and noble lady of Asgard. Each of thee hast thine own tale of bravery in the face of this battle.

As so many hath a'ready given so much to the realm... so first shalt the realm give back."

He gestures, and two servants bring an ornate wooden box forward.

"Arise, Aridis Sifsdottir. For thine deeds this day, it hast been agreed that thou'rt to be given the highest honor the realm can bestow. A weapon hast been crafted, suited to the new Goddess of Archery and the Hunt."

	Aridis had finished another drink. People had been wanting to share drinks and toast her name. She had smiled so much it had hurt. And now she could see her sister so she broke away from the crowd of warriors she had been with to join them. "Mine sister. Might I offer thee mine personal congratulations? I art happy for thee." 	"It has felt like another lifetime," Aridis admits while peering down at Solver. "He ist handsome. He wilt grow up to be a fine man. When he ist old enough, I wilst make him a bow to learn on, if thou wilt allow it Lady Vernique. Thou art his Mother." So is Svalin but Vernique should be obeyed just as much.
