Flashback - Formation of the TBolts
It had been a long day of enforcing her lord's will and delivering his justice and Lady Mandarin returned to the base and to her lord. She removed her armor and let the servants take it away. Her arms went out and the two women worked efficiently to remove the clothes she wore. Once she was naked, Lady Mandarin stepped into the hot shower that had been prepared for her.

Talia hates to get personally involved. Sometimes its necessary. This is one of those times, lest the Avengers do something rash when subtlety is called for.

Elodie LeBeau had done some thiefwork with her father. Talia had taken notice. The girl had talents, she had stealth, she had just the sort of grey morality that endeared her to Talia's sensibilities.

With far more stealth than even the best of mere human thieves, Talia slips in through the shadows, finding her way to Elodie.

"Elodie LeBeau?"

At the mention of an offer Elodie straightened without letting her guard down.

"I want details before I agreed to anything."

She was glad her dad had spent the ridiculous amount of time that he had teaching her how to keep her appearance and voice steady under pressure because internally she was freaking out. She hadn't broadcasted her mutation, though it wouldn't be hard to figure out around her home town if people were asked questions.

"A villain bearing the legacy of the Mandarin has kidnapped a girl and brainwashed her. If that girl's father attempts the rescue he has planned, a lot of people will die. If she is not rescued at all, he will awaken an ancient dragon under his control, and use her, the dragon, and his own poer to bring the Triads and the Hand under his control. I can't have that.

I need you to help join a team to keep the Mandarin occupied while a rescue is effected."

"Stalling the Mandarin. You want me to sign up to be bait." El's voice is flat and unimpressed. She pauses a moment debating with herself. This was exactly the sort of thing her parents had warned her about getting mixed up in, but also exactly the type of thing that was worth getting mixed up in. She ran a hand through her hair.

"If it's really as important as you say, I'm in." She could always try to take off or bust herself out if it turned out to be a hoax.

"Down payment, plane ticket, dossier and a picture of one of your co-workers is in there. Return from this mission alive, and you'll find the rest of your money waiting." 	El automatically snatches the folder out of the air taking the leftover momentum of it in through her fingers. "Right-o." She opened the envelope and began pulling the information out of it. She almost whistled at the details. This wouldn't be easy by any means, but she was increasingly glad it was a rescue mission rather than a take down. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
