Tessa stayed huddled in the corner even after the lights came back on. She watched Misha in his cell until they came and took him away. The guilty feeling got worse when they dragged him out of the cell and took him away. Tessa knew where they were taking him and what they were going to do to him.

There had to be a way to help him and his brother even from within this cell. The question was what could she do from in here and with her powers. It wasn't like she could blast her way out or even use her powers on the guards in the immediate area.

Tessa stood up and started pacing. There had to be a way out of here. Nothing was escape proof. She just had to think this through. While anyone wouldn't consider her a genius, she wasn't an idiot either and wasn't a mass of flesh like Nicholas. Given time she could figure things out on her own. The problem was she didn't know how much time she had before they came to get her for reprogramming.

Before a plan or an idea could take root in her head, the lock on the door to her cell clicked open. Cautiously she approached the door and tried it. It opened and she took a hesitant step into the hallway. Not a guard in sight. This was definitely unexpected and she wondered if it was a setup. Now she was just waiting for Nicholas to appear out of nowhere and kill her while she was 'attempting to escape' or some other thin excuse like that.

While she had some temporary freedom, she may as well try to get the younger Logan kid out of his cell and try to get him out of the complex. Carefully and very cautiously she walked over to his cell.

	Tessa ran toward the lights and found Nicholas and Misha squaring off. "Leave him alone!" she yelled and ran toward Nicholas. She only needed to touch Nicholas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Nicholas dives backwards. "Now." he hisses into coms. Suddenly the lights go out entirely. His Weapon X conditioning and nature of his powers makes him somewhat resistant to Tessa's powers and he knows it - they figured enough to cope with her projection, but definitely not her touch. 	Nicholas grabs the nightvision goggles from his pouches. He knows the place and came prepared. Locating Tessa, he goes to work, attacking savagely and quickly. He's not sure if her healing factor will fix this or not, and it really doesn't matter. As soon as she stops moving or struggling, he pushes her at Misha and bugs out. 	The attack came without warning and Tessa was caught under the barrage of fists. Within a moment she could feel the warm blood on her face and the bones in her face breaking. Then she was grabbed and shoved forward where more fists connected with her face. She didn't even have the chance to cry out or beg them to stop. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The hands clamped around her throat and Tessa struggled to break free. It was no use. She pounded with fists on the hands that were strangling her, but to no use. The hold wouldn't break. 	The room shakes even as Tessa's power is ceasing to broadcast the fear. Light floods in as Jordan tears up a section of the roof. 	There might've been a look of unhinged confusion in Misha's eyes when he managed to look up, not helped with the bloody face and shirt. But he did understand leaving. He slowly got to his feet and bent down to gather Tessa's body in his arms. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Misha wiped his face with his hands, and then his hands on his clothes. He stumbled but caught himself. There wasn't nearly as much fire as he thought there should be. This place should be a hole in the ground with the Weapon X poster boy roasting on a spit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Jordan glances back as he walks, seeming to get some idea of the thoughts from Misha's expression. "My teammate blew up about a quarter of the place. And they seemed prepped to evacuate. I'm guessing this place will self-destruct when they get everyone clear. Or somehow won't be here by the time anyone checks on it. I've got a bunch of people depending on me that I'd rather not have here if it does blow up."

He sighs. "If you're having trouble with balance, hang onto my shoulder. You look pretty rough."
