A Werewolf Walks Into a Bar In Seattle
Greg walked into a bar called AFK and grabbed a stool at the bar. The bar was a hangout for local geeks, but beer was beer and that was all that Greg wanted. He didn't feel like the type of clientele that occupied normal bars. Tonight he just wanted a beer and quiet.

He ordered a Guinness and got lost in his own thoughts as he waited.

	Jo was thankful that the walk back was long enough for her to get back to normal. "Goodwill store. Hid them inside a clothing rack every day for a week until their sticker color had a half price day." She shuts the door once everyone is inside. "Help yourself to anything in the fridge. 	The Bride looked around, but did not comment on the decor. Her tastes, such as it were, often amounted to needing little more than a place to get out of the rain. So much of her life had been spent on the run or hunting monsters, that she had rarely had time to "relax." "It is... nice?" she tried. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Just put him on the futon. Comfier than the floor at least." She nods at the largest piece of actual furniture in the place. Along with the bean bags and a pair of storage ottomans, it sits adjacent to a large wooden spool. Nearby is an entertainment center made of cinder-blocks and plywood. If anyone had expected the Bride to look regretful, she was going to disappoint them. It was not, as some of the group might have suspected, that she felt no remorse or pity for her actions. Rather, it was a combination of being at peace with a monster who killed monsters and having lived too long and dealt with too many other vampires, werewolves, and worse to believe that their conditions were anything more than a curse.

No matter how in control they suspected themselves, cursed individuals always eventually snapped and someone needed to clean up their mess. Better death than that.

So if an apology was expected, there would be a long wait.

Instead, her thoughts turned to more musing prospects. "So many unusual individuals in one place, one city," she said. "The supernatural has only grown in my long slumber."

	"I've got plenty of supplies, but I'm no EMT. Do any of you know how to treat a bullet wound?" Jo brings out one of the kits, along with some clean towels that have seen better days and she won't mind losing. 	"I can do it," Rita decides. "I have steady hands." So she searches the first aid kit and pulls the gloves she had been wearing off and tugs on a pair of disposable gloves then picks up a pair of forceps and tweezers. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He gets out of Rita's way so she can work. He turns to the Bride. "It does seem to be a very ironic coincidence." He frowns slightly and in a lower voice replies to the Bride alone, "Sorry about earlier." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yeah. I'm pretty much a 'normal' compared to everyone else here." She was taking care to not do more damage to Greg than had already been done as she went in search of the bullet. "Almost got it." And when she does she lets it drop onto one of the towels Jo had brought over. She sets the tools aside and starts to clean and patch Greg up. "There. Got it." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Half-conscious Greg groaned when Rita dug the bullet out. It hurt as almost as much as it did when he was shot. His eyes rolled back and he slipped into unconsciousness. The wound was already starting to heal now that the silver bullet was out. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"It's... Japanese. It's a way they actually used to use for preserving fish. Now they serve it up that way as a cuisine. It's not something everyone enjoys. Chinese might be better," Rita says as she tugs the gloves off and drops them in the trash so she can rinse her hands off.

"And.... Really. I don't know what should happen next. It's weird that we all ran into each other at almost the same time. I'm not used to getting back up, though it's been known to happen."

	"Okay. From what I saw this Morlun guy attacked the werewolf I just patched up. I guess he must have tracked the werewolf down," she guesses out loud. "I'm not sure what his deal was.
