Dr. Moira Ann Kinross MacTaggert had been busy. Her primary research concern lately had of course been her granddaughter Danielle's condition. Retrovirus-mediated therapy was looking like the best possible solution, but making <i>that</i> work with Danielle's physiology was going to be tricky. She'd need to see her again soon. Still, progress.

A telephone rang at the Xavier Institute.

	He kisses her back firmly, in no hurry to stop. When they do get around to taking a breather, he passes on the news. "Your grandmother called, she wants Danielle to call her sometime this evening, don't worry about the time difference. Also you and Danielle have oatcakes and she has some wolf-safe cookies.
