Taking a Stand
 The world of mortals was still alien to Kael. He wondered just how much longer he would have to stay here. Had his mother found any clue as to those who had created the shadow army that attacked Asgard? If not, then how long would it take? It wasn't as if it was all bad here. The Defenders were good people. Svalin was at least being more tolerant of him. Haljborn tended to be at least partially hostile most of the time. Vernique,, He turns slightly to the small woman holding her Asgardian son. He was fond of the woman. But still.. what was he doing here?

Dr. Measi started putting bandages on the claw wounds on Kael's arms. "Your brother would know better, but from what he said they were ambushed on set. The woman Svalin fought had powers to decay flesh and touched Svalin's hand. She would have died if they hadn't amputated her arm."

"I don't know. I need to do some scans and see how much damage has been done," she said. "Was anyone else hurt?" she asked. If so, then she would need to call in some help.

"I do not think so, Healer.." Iona said from the door way before stepping in, moving immediately over to Vernique's side to at least be on hand to help her with the Prince, should she require it, with a grim expression.
