Recruitment Drive
Manny's current job had him looking after a wannabe-popstar. Not exactly a glamorous gig. The worst he'd had to deal with was an over-enthusiastic fangirl screaming she wanted to have the guy's baby. Manny rolled his eyes. It certainly looked like he was hitting a slump. Maybe he should try and work things out with the UWF execs.

	"Hola," manny says, giving a friendly wave. He raises n eyebrow. "I've been to a Tijuana rodeo so this oughta be interesting." He walks up to one of the cutouts and taps it to test it's solidity. "Yeah, that would explain th..." Kelly stops short at a less than gentle, but at least somewhat subtle 'nudge' from her sister. Maybe they're not talking about the same kind of rodeo?

"Nice moves. I'm sure the boss lady can come up with an adamantium scratching post for you somewhere. Got to be a bitch and a half scratching your ba..." ow, there's that nudge again.

"...picking your nose?" ow.

Kelly beams. "You realize you don't need to whisper, right? We make socially inappropriate commentary out loud here. If you're really shy about it, I do speak Spanish." she adds, matter-of-factly.

"So, mi Luche Garra, looks like you'll definitely have a use around here. Let us know if you need anything. I'm sure the redhead is seeing to any special dietary needs, magic hat guy and my sister are damned useful to have around, and in a pinch, I could probably find a hooker with a sandpaper fetish."

	Martin stares for a long time at Manny's claws, then seems to make up his mind about something. It's one of the odder reactions to someone revealing they had hand...issues, but Martin looks up at Manny with his biggest grin and positively beams. For good or ill, Kelly seems to have decided she likes the new guy ok. He's rolled with everything enough to spare him the worst kind of attention - unlike some co-workers in the past. Bea will just have to cope with remaining a focus of her sister's attention.

"If you're giving him the really grand tour, sis, could you check by my room at some point? I think I might have left the tablesaw running, and don't want to run up the power bill."

	"We've got a lot of cool stuff," he adds as he zooms alongside the tour group, sitting cross-legged on his flying disc. He turns to Manny. "You can't touch anything either?" The question is phrased with an odd amount of excitement given it's subject, and he seems to be almost bouncing in place while asking. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Me too," he beams. "Well...not break as much as do random magic stuff to it." As a show, he places his hat down on the disc and slams his hand down against it. On impact there's a burst of magic sparks all over, most of which are absorbed by the hat or fade away into the air. Really he's just glad to meet somebody with similar, albeit a non-magical, hand issues. (Reply to this)(Parent)
