Wedding March to a War Drum
Alfveror arrived on Migard just outside the main building of the Defenders' Compound. He was inside the fence and the unexpected arrival tripped the alarms. A loud warning signal filled the air and was deafening to heightened senses.

He stood still and waited.

She gazed at him for a long moment before giving him a tight smile, taking him by the hand as she lead him into the Defender's base to prepare to leave on the morrow which came all to early after a very short, and at the same time, very long, night.
