Wedding March to a War Drum
Alfveror arrived on Migard just outside the main building of the Defenders' Compound. He was inside the fence and the unexpected arrival tripped the alarms. A loud warning signal filled the air and was deafening to heightened senses.

He stood still and waited.

	It doesn't take long at all for Halbjorn to respond. Every time that alarm goes off, its briefly annoying, until he remembers it tends to herald entertainment. As such, he's a little disappointed to see the fellow warrior. "Hail and well met." he calls, friendly, but a touch disappointed its not trolls or the Hulk dropping by. Arrival in Asgard

The next morning saw the Defenders being transported to Asgard. They were quite surprised when they arrived in Asgard.

The Golden Realm lay in ruins. Broken towers and buildings dotted the city and huge parts of the wall surrounding the city were missing. Smoke billowed into the sky and many of Asgard's warriors lay dead on the ground.

There were very little signs of life.

In the throne room

The throne room was a study in chaos. When they walked in they found the remnants of Asgard's warriors and a hall full of wounded being tended to. Frost Giants, trolls and everything else had attacked along with the Hulk causing all of the damage to Asgard.

The hall went silent when they entered and people stopped and stared.

For a brief moment it was as if time had been frozen, but then time started again and everyone suddenly came to life. Warriors approached Svalin and Aridis and asked when the forces of Asgard would go on the attack.

It took awhile, but eventually the clamor calmed down and Svalin and Aridis were able to assemble a few of the advisers to find out what had happened. Frost giants, trolls and every other being who wanted to see Asgard fall save for the Dark Elves had attacked in conjunction with the Hulk. The warriors of Asgard had held as best as they could, but under the onslaught they had to retreat to the great hall. It was the last bastion against the forces that had attacked.

The warriors had regrouped in the hall, but they were without leadership. Odin was still asleep, Thor had gone after the Hulk, Sif was missing, Balder as well after seeking the Norns, and the Warriors Three were being held captive. Bragi had sat on the throne for a brief period before falling ill.

The advisers left the small chamber off of the throne room leaving the Defenders alone.

Svalin was of four minds. One part of her wanted to find her son. Another part wanted to rush off and find Hal and make sure he didn't get himself killed. There was one part of her that wanted to go find her mother and the other of the missing. The last part knew she had a duty to Asgard.

"Aye," Svalin said. "It ist most strange with all the other enemies of Asgard attacking an thine people not. Most strange indeed."

"We wilt need to go after the missing, go find Solver and bring order to Asgard."

Marlow stopped and cupped her hands together. She whispered into them. Light spilled out between her fingers. With a final push of magic, she tossed it into the air. The winged spell hovered over her head for a several minutes before flying off in search of the missing baby.

Marlow followed on foot. A Marlow illusion remained behind so she would know if they needed her magic.
