Night settled over New York and the Baxter Building at Four Freedoms Plaza was quiet.

In the lab of Reed Richards all was not quiet and something BIG was about to happen.

Indeed, something was certainly about to happen. In fact, it was happening right now. With all of the preparation complete, there was one last action that needed to be taken; turning it on. He pressed one last button, and a portal ripped open.

At first nothing happened, then one bug looking creature came through the port. Then another. Then another. The trickle quickly became a steady stream.
