Shopping
It was a perfect autumn day in Los Angeles and perfect for shopping, at least according to her wife. Vernique didn't miss the fact that Brandr had all Asgardian clothes, what little of those he had, and no Migard clothes. There was a statement that bodyguarding couldn't be done if one stood out. So shopping it was.

Svalin was on Solver duty for shopping. She knew next to nothing about Migard fashion or clothes in general and someone had to keep Solver from flying around the stores. Vernique was the expert shopper in the family and Svalin was more than happy to let her take point and say where they went and what they bought.

With toddler in arms and distracted by animal crackers, Svalin followed her wife and Brandr.

	If Svalin was confused, then Brandr was even more so. "Aye. What ist?" Puppy? Was this some story about one that grew to be a giant wolf that could be trained to fight in battle alongside its master? If not then it certainly didn't sound too interesting. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Svalin almost asked what was so terrible about going to bed without dinner and how that was a serious consequence, but wisely did not. She could tell her wife was getting vexed and it was best not to push Tiny Human or there would be Tiny Human Rage.

She just shrugged. "If thou think this ist appropriate for his age, then we wilt read him such stories." Left unsaid was 'full of such nonsense'.

	Brandr has to restrain himself from asking if going to bed without food was all. Because that was hardly a punishment. Thankfully he manages. "Aye," he nods. Mostly to the unsaid bit though. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Vernique smiles a little as she sighs, knowing they're biting their tongues and appreciating it. She'll let them focus on watching Solver for a bit while she went to grab a new nightgown. She wasn't going to try that on in front of company. Especially company with whom Svalin's attitude was such that they'd need to talk in private later.

But for some reason, there is a dude in the lady's nightwear section of the store. A dude who approaches Vernique. An exchange is had, and as the dude finally turns away.... Vernique will start laughing. And laughing. And laughing.

	Fighting a dragon sounded far more entertaining. But it was not to be, so Brandr just picks up the new bags too and follows along. As much as he hoped it wouldn't be, shopping seemed like something they'd do quite a bit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin followed her wife into the store and eyed the shoes. Not out of wanting them, but out of fear her wife will make her try shoes on and buy some. Svalin hated the way most of them pinched her feet and the sales people always gave her attitude because her feet were so big. She did admit the tiny shoes for Solver were cute.
